Get out of the house for the day. Get your mind on something else. She may arrive later on today or even tomorrow. I would not freak out yet.

My E-Bay Lindsey- the one I can't seem to shut-up about- is scheduled to arrive today.
Where I live in NJ packages arrive in Jersey and are sent to another location before being sent out for delivery.
I checked the tracking today and it arrived at the first Jersey location early yesterday morning and that's it.
I called and they said it would get here today and I asked "even if the package is not usually sent directly from the last location it was scanned into and there is no indication that it was sent out for delivery?" The CS Rep wasn't too helpful.
I am really stressing about this because it is my graduation present to myself and I just got my final grades today and my overall GPA is an A and I really worked hard for this Masters Degree and all I really want right now is my Lindsey doll. I know she is just a doll, but I am bummed about it, especially because of how excited I have been for her arrival.
My uncle who works for UPS is going to try to get a phone number for me that will connect me directly to the last location she was scanned into, but other than that I don't know what to do.
Since CS was no help, do any of you who have had MIA packages have any advice on what to do in these situations, or do you have to sit back and hope UPS finds it?
Ok, they never scanned her out and my UPS driver looked at me funny when I ran out to his truck.
My question is...
for those of you who have Lindsey, is her vinyl really hard?

I am so "by the book" and I am so OCD that if things aren't exactly as they say they are and follow usual patterns I freak out.
Sorry to have sounded so desperate, she is here now, so no worries!
Glad she made it safe!!!!
So...tell us what she is like!!! We wanna hear the details. Is she all that you expected?

~She is really pretty
~Her limbs are really loose, she has been renamed "Loose-Limb-Lindsey" and I don't want to send her into the hospital but then again I don't want to do it myself because I never seem to re-stuff them right.
~Hair is a little frizzy, but I sprayed it with some water and although I didn't give her curls she has some great volume
~Definately played with because her clothes have some wear, but nothing a hand-washing and pill removal couldn't fix
~Skin cleaned up really well
~Does have some marks, which seller mentioned, so I think I am going to hit her with the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser
~Has a little bit of her thumb hacked off, wasn't there in listing so I think I did it somehow, when she got here she was frozen from being in the back of the truck all day and I think that I must have smacked her at the right angle because it is a clean break, even though I want her perfect, nothing is perfect and I am not sending her for new limbs.
*FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE LINDSEY*
Does she have an asterik type design on the inside of each of her limbs? I noticed it when I was cleaning her and thought it was kinda odd.
So, that's my girl. I will have some makeover pics in the next few days.
Anyone have any tips for getting her hair into really nice curls?

Lindsey was very indignant but allowed me to check for the * Yes, my Lindsey has the *. Her hair was very dry and yucky when she arrived. Since I couldn't do anything to bring it back to life, she got a head transplant. Hope you have better luck.
Did you check her tag? Is she American "Girl" or "Gril"? Not that it matters, I just think it's interesting.
Enjoy your beautiful new girl!

She has the "Gril" tag.
Currently Lindsey is in the beauty salon getting a facial, perm, and body wrap. We'll see how it goes.
She was REALLY grimy, but after baking soda, magic eraser and bath and body works warm vanilla sugar antibacterial soap, she is looking-and smelling-very clean!
